I recently bought a used 2005 ST, and today, while trying to fix my power point which just recently stopped working, I found a brown/cream colored wire that ran to the 29th or headlamp fuse, and preceded to follow it to maybe 7 or 8 other wires which ran all the way across the truck to the left( if looking directly on it) side of the engine, it ran to some, obviously after market item which is connected to the left side with a bracket, also, it had one wire which runs to the computer, and a tube that runs into a vaccum tube, and another wire which runs to the throttle body, but it obviously does nothing, so i really dont understand its purpose, also, those 7 or 8 other wires that the brown/cream one runs with, run into the cab to an unknown location, i was told that the car might have an aftermarket security system, but this just doesnt look like something like that.

Post some pictures of the box that the wires connect to and how their connected to the throttle body. This will help better determine what it is. You can use photobucket or another photo sharing site to upload pictures.

the second is the throttle body, the cable that runs to it never has any pressure on it, no matter how you turn the throttle, making me think it is pointless, the third is the vaccum line that it runs into

Looks like an aftermarket cruise control setup. Does your truck have cruise control switches on the steering wheel?

I think its for a flux capacitor.

Sorry, could not resist trying to have a chuckle.

It does have a cruise control to the left of the steering wheel, that actually makes alot of sense

Yeah your truck may not have come with cruise control so they installed an aftermarket setup in it's place.
