For some odd reason my Explorer is really unsteady on the road..the slightest turn of the wheel and its hard to control. I am thinking the shocks are bad. Would there be any other reason this is happening?

Usually the sway bars cause this. Possible broken links or just completely worn out rubber.

Can I know the rear shocks are bad also...just looked at the truck sagging...But I will change the sway links and the rubbers when I but on the new shocks....I want to do a lift kit but Im scared to do so because of how unsteady it is...

If it is unsteady and likes to sway on the highway that is bad shocks/struts.

XPLR 2016 sometime unsteady

even my xplr 2016 is unsteady at rd...same issue I m facing just 2mnth old :)

Mine is surprising steady even in high winds.

Note to everyone: When you check sway bar bushings, don't forget to check the bushings where the sway bar connects to the frame too. Those bushings often get overlooked. and don't forget to check all the same in the rear too.
