Upgrading lighting

Rock, the only HID conversion kit I have seen is at 4APC.net . The price for the kit is a little steep (approx. $650), they come with bulbs, ballast, and a wiring harness that connects to the stock headlight switch.

ok I have answers to THESE questions now .
Hella 500's use H3 bulbs which can be replaced with PIAA bulbs, but you may want to check your wattage. Some of the Hellas use 55 watt bulbs and others use 100 watt bulbs. If yours use 55 watts, don't get the PIAA 110 watts bulbs, it can potentially do damage to the casing as well as the wiring, but the PIAA 85 watts would be closer.

Also, if you have a 95-97 Explorer, you can fit the PIAA 1500 or 1400 without any bracketry, in the air dam. You can also buy a bracket (PIAA part #30240). For vehicles that are NOT limited, with this bracket you can fit 940, 960, 910 and 959 lights. If it is limited you can fit 940's and 960's. You have to have the factory fog lights though for these brackets to work, as they use the existing holes in the airdam. While we are on the subject of lighting--does PIAA make superwhite backup lamps? I think I saw something about them recently but I can't remember where.

OK, I apologize but I don't believe PIAA makes a bulb for that.
