I was able to obtain a Audiophile system (stock amps and sub) from a friend, for my 94' explorer. My explorer is "Premium" with a stock amp for the speakers. What do I need to do, to convert it to include the sub?
For some reason the new speaker amp, doesnt work with my speakers, nor does the old amp for that matter (I am using a bypass). Is this because I upgraded my HU, and the HU has a built in amplifier? Therefore sending an allready amplified signal to the amp, screwing things up?
And what wires will I need to hook up to get the sub going? Will I have to run a new wire to my batt. for power?
