I replaced the upper control arms on both sides with TRW replacements from Advance Auto and they were both a very tight fit. After the bolts were through, and before attaching to the spindle with the pinch bolt, I noticed they didn't move up & down easily. They tended to return to their original position, and wouldn't move very far up and down with a good amount of force (didn't want to push too much with the front end jacked up). The mounts looked bent some. Is this normal?

Also the driver's side rear bolt was such a pain to get in & out. Managed to get it out after alot, a LOT, of pushing, twisting and pulling. Couldn't get it back in for the life of me. Had to grind off some of the end of the bolt (unthreaded part) to get it back in. Fuel lines were in the way and weren't budging.

New ones will be much stiffer when they're first installed...'tis normal..
