Tried searching, couldnt find anything but I probably missed something.
I need a new engine for my 1994 Ford Explorer 4X4.
Down the street from me is a 1992 Ford Explorer with a Jasper Engine with 16,000 miles. No leaks, no knocks, its all good.
HOWEVER, I know there were a few differences between the 91-92 motor and the 93-94 motor. One I can think of is there's no EGR on the 91-92 I believe. I was just wondering if I would have any trouble just swapping the motors completely. Or would I have to switch things over?
Both are Auto & 4X4, Will I need to swap computers?
Not sure of any other problems I may have, I just don't want to start emptying pockets and get knees deep in to a project and realise I have the wrong thing.
