Howdy, all.
I was at Black Dragon earlier this summer. The sections I saw are very doable. The road from I70 to the beginning of the canyon is a little sandy, but I didn't need 4wd. There's a short rocky stretch right at the mouth of the canyon that I didn't want to chance alone in a stock rig, but it has a bypass. From there it's sandy road through the slot canyon up to the pictograph site. We farted around there for a bit before getting chased out by weather, so I don't know what's beyond that point. I didn't see the spot in the photo above, but it doesn't look undoable for a stock rig, assuming you're going down at least.
Anyway, feel free to add me to the list. I'm Kevin in Magna with an '00 XLT and an '86 4Runner, and I'd be down for group runs. NHarris, I'd love to tag along the next time you do Inspiration Point, I've been meaning to get up there.
