Uwharie, NC in Mid-July: Who is interested?

I have never been to Uwharie, NC (about 45 minutes east of Charlotte, NC), but I heard a lot of great things about it. It should not be as hard as Tellico, has suitable things for stockers, but also fun stuff to do for modified rigs. Looking at my busy schedule, I decided to reserve the weekend of July 12 for a trip there (which still is no guarantee I will actually get to go).

Who is interested in joining?

I am definitely interested, but a friend of mine is getting married on July 26th, so I may be doing stuff for the wedding that week. I'll keep an eye out.

Michael, I really want to join you in a run to Uwharrie, but there is a distinct possibility that I will be doing another run in California at that time, and it would be kinda difficult to be two places at once a continent apart What's the next free weekend you could schedule?

Don't plan a run around me -- shoot, the other trip isn't iced down yet and dates may change -- I'm just saying that I'd really like to join, and if it isn't a hassle, would a later date be just as good for you and everyone else? You guys schedule what you can and I'll do my best to join in.

Not that schizophrenic yet? Early June might work, but then August is wide open for me (except the 24th)

The SAS will be done within the month hopefully. It is all the other $$$ stuff that may hold me up for awhile. But hopefully, the tax return will take care of the last few things and by summer..........pristine.

Michael, I have quite a few pictures of Uwharrie on my server but no way to host them at this time. Hopefully after I switch ISP's (sometime next week) I will be able to post them online.

Jason, I can give you space on my server along with your own directory. If you want (or anyone else here wants) that, just drop me an email (email@REMOVEFORSPAMadam-robinson.net) and let me know what you'd like your login and password to be, along with the directory name (it will be www.siliconorb.net/yourdirectory)

I can also host with a domain instead of the directory, but you'll have to pay the $38 it will cost me to register ($30 domain name server fees and $8 domain registration fee, and the $8 recurs every year). I don't make any money on that, I just can't afford to lose any, either . I'll even take care of the work of registering it, just let me know the name.
