I am definitely interested in these. I would love to put my MB Quart QSD's down there. I just hope the emergency brake wouldn't get in the way. Man, if I could get these in tan, this would be amazing, I am getting excited.
The tension cable runs underneath the dirver's side. I've looked in my Haynes manual, and it shows how to adjust it. This way, I will only have to press very slightly to engage my emergency brake....I think.
Anyone out thre done this? I've been told it's a better option than trying to bend the metal.

i was just wondering if you have gotten any closer to being done and if so how much would you want for a set that is unpainted and not sanded smooth yet?
Well I have made a mold, just working on seperating the mold from the plug, Then the mold has to cure and be preped, which will take a few days. This is proving to be much more of a pain in the ass than I thought it would but I will keep at it...Somebody has to do it I will let you guys know once the first set (expo5.0's) is ready, then the others shouldnt be too far behind
I dont know yet, my '91 is at my parents house, which is 1 hour away, so next time i go there I will take one and see if it fits. Will let everyone know when that happens...
here is the only set that ever happened. the mold didn't really work and these are pretty much hand molded except for the very basic shape. note that the 6" flamed audiobahn grille is molded in.
ok guys....the kicks are the same for 91-01 and the 01+'s that are based on the 2nd gens
the only reason there are years posted for the q-logic panels is cause there is different stuff behind them for different years.....for instance....the OBD-I equiped cars (91-94 except for 95) have the computer under the passenger panel. and i think the other years have different electronic components that make it tough (or tougher) to fit a speaker there.
