V-6 vs. V-8

AWD isnt the only option with a V8. They make a 2wd..

They make v8 selectable 4wd's. Just not until after 2003.

Drake has a good point above, if you are going to drive 120 miles a day, an Explorer is probably not want you want for that job due to running costs $$$. But, sounds like you bought a great truck...99EB with V8 should be reliable for a long time.
