Solved Vacuum hose under intake

Where does this vacuum line connect?

It has very little reach.

I could note, that the engine was a vin K, going into a vin E. So maybe this hose belongs to the vin K and not the Vin E.
 






Do you suspect a leak with either a propane or water/smoke test? If it's not leaking then leaving it alone would be safer than moving around a 20 years old hose. From what I can see, you didn't point it out but it looks like it's the horizontal hose, it looks to be either PCV or the input side of the crankcase vent system.

Yeah, was rushing to get an answer, it’s this portion in red. We were putting the engine back in.

Went back to the shop that had put it in originally and found the non-flex fuel engines hose.
