2002 explorer 4.0 truck has a small radiator hose about 4 inches in length under the throttle body, anyone know how to get it off the damn truck

Are you referring to the slightly angled one that goes into the water pump?

If so, you can cut it out by slicing it horizonatlly, then prying the two halves off one at a time.

THEN, the new one is a beeyaaach to get on, but with a bit of WD40, and some gentle pushing, you can get the new one on. But it takes time. Align the openings on both of the "pipes" and wiggle it on slowly.

Removing the belt and a pully or two and the radiator shroud will free up some room to work.

Otherwise, you'll have to remove the water pump which requires removing a bunch of other stuff.
