Vacuum line: Check Valve to Vacuum Distribution Block

I have a 91 2w x that matches the diagram located here: http://econtent.autozone.com:24991/...00c152/80/18/ee/0f/large/0900c1528018ee0f.gif

I have three lines that run into a plastic T, one of them going to a cylindrical reservoir, the other to a wiring harness, and another that goes to nothing. Since this matches the description of the check valve, I'm assuming the third needs to connect to the "octopus" but I don't see any empty arms on there..

I've attached a few pictures in case I'm calling parts by the wrong name, or misidentified them.. Anyone know where this guy goes? It seems that having this hose disconnected will just prevent warm air circulation into the air intake during a cold start, and not much else.. am I right on that?

Feel around or use a mirror to see the entire tree.. There is a hidden fitting or two that isn't too easy to spot.

Its also possible that someone noticed the empty spot on the octopus but didn't see the unhooked hose so they put a cap on the empty spot.

There are empty spots on the tree to start with which would imply to someone who couldn't find a missing vacuum line that they just lost a cap.

put that vacuum line on the one that is capped off, then spray some brake cleaner in that vicinity to make sure you don't have any other spots that are not capped or hooked up. If you do, just put the cap on the one that is open.

fwiw, on mine, that line is connected to one of the ports on the back of the tree, kinda hard to see it where it is.
