Vent selection not working

I have a 2015 Ford explorer XLT and the vent selection will not allow me to change locations. I believe it is only blowing heat and defrost. I tried to select the vents only and nothing changes. Is there a way to reset this or is it possibly another one of the vent actuator problems that I had on three other Explores ? I had it in at Ford on Jan 8th 2021 for a similar issue and they said they did a Climate Control Module Reprogram using IDS release 107.o4 or higher. I don't understand any of this just looking for help. I have an appointment for Feb 17th and I do have the extended warranty with a $100 deductible. Just wondering if it's possible to reset myself. Welcome to the 5th gen Forum.
I'm not aware of a "reset" for the HVAC system. The issue could again be related to the vent actuator(s) or the HVAC Control Module.

I believe there are 3 actuators. 2 passenger side. 1 drivers side. Drivers side controls where the air goes ie defrost, upper vents, lower vents(this is the most difficult one) i replaced mine on 2015 XLT after watching youtube video. Not for the faint of heart…jk. The ones on the passenger side, control hot or cold, last one is outside air vs recirculating inside air.
