After I installed my ventvisors (the ones that tape inside the window channel, I noticed a lot more road noise. I looked around and found that the rear view mirrors were kind of bent up because of the plastic thing on the ventvisor your supposed to put there. When I put my hand by the part of the door panel that covers them, I can feel air moving in from about 30mph on. All of the seals have bulged and I want to take these things off. If I take them off, will the seals go back to their original position? And what adhesive do they use to attach the seals because they have come up in some places. Thanks

I have had vent visors on my X for almost 6 years with no problems. Mine are the ones that mount inside the window channel. Are you sure you mounted them correctly? I cant figure out why yours would be moving the mirrors.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I installed them right. This sucks. I'm going to take them off and see what happens.

Are you talking about the little tab that is on the lowest end of the visor? If so it does not mount like the rest, it slides between the part the rest mounts to and the outer part of the door. I think.

Yes I am talking about that. And maybe that's my problem. I can't look at the X right now, but I just slid it in underneath the mirror assembly. I'll look at when I get out of school.

I've got the same visors and have had them on for over a year with no problems. That tab that goes behind the mirror was a beast to get in on mine, so it wouldn't push the mirror out and look bad. If your mirror is pushed out a bit, then you probably have them on wrong. The tab shouldn't push the mirror out.

I've just put some on mine (a month ago) and they are working great. My only problem is that the pass side rear window won't go up without pulling the top of it back in slightly as it contacts the rear corner of the visor.

Only happens on the one side so I think maybe the window tracks are worn that little bit more or something. Not a big deal though as there is rarely anyone in the back.

Mine did the same thing on the drivers side. Eventualy it went away.
