vibration in pedal

hi when i drive my st aggressively i feel a vibration in the gas pedal for a extended period of time why is this? thanks

Could it be the road you feel? concrete or asphalt

I have never heard of a gas pedal having a vibration. If it does it has to be transmitting it from some where else. Especially if it has drive by wire then it isn't even connected to the throttle. But even if it has a cable I can't see it vibrating.

Hi, had a similar problem in my newly purchased 2010 sport trac. Found that the transfer case and transmission were very low on fluid as delivered by the dealership. Added the proper type and amount of fluid and the problem has been minimized but not gone entirely. I suspect it has something to do with the auto 4x4 system and partial engagement during agressive driving.
