LTD ME: No, my XLT hasn't come in yet. Cory & Gina advised that the 19th was the day, however I went to the dealership last week to ask about timeframe once it arrived (getting remote start installed) and order some other equipment, and was told that after they received the vehicle, it was a 3-5 day turnaround. Apparently, only my salesman can set my sync up for me, they have to "inspect" the vehicle and then send out for the install of remote start....UGH!!! That would mean next week because of the holiday.
Here's the messed up part; when I went to the dealer, they were "too busy to deal with a customer who has already ordered a vehicle"....their words, not mine. Finally when I advised that I just wanted a timeframe, they told me that it was december 17th before I'd get my vehicle and that they would call me when it's ready and they "had time". Being a business owner, I can say that I'd fire, on the spot, any employee to disrespect a customer like that. It's bad enough I went to 4 different dealerships to buy the vehicle because no one would come out to help me. Again, I work for myself, which means I can wear jeans and an ugly baseball cap as my work attire and fancy dress. Apparently they all felt like I was just a punk kid who couldn't buy what i was looking at. Then my wife had to come with me, just so I could get someone to speak with me, they were nice as could be...to her.
Basically, I love the looks and the reports on this vehicle, the customer service of Cory/Gina, but I have to say that I'm skeptical of the service I'm going to get from the dealership(s) around here should something go wrong with the vehicle.
Glad you love your newbie! All the b/s aside, I'm still excited to finally have my own car again. It's been a long several weeks.
