OK, I bought a set a Wal Mart brand mudders a couple of weeks ago and I was just wondering if anyone has heard about or seen these tires. They are just called Super Sports and hey are made by Goodyear but do not carry the name. The shipping label said Goodyear tie and rubber. They were 520.00 for 33x12.5 R15's (35x12.5 R15's were 2bucks more each) roughly out the door and they seem to be very aggressive. I was just curious if any one else had heard of or seen these tires before. They have a very soft compound as well. I have'nt had the chance to get off road, except in a couple of road side mud holes. They seem to have good traction. I will e-mail pics if anyone is interested.

Yea not bad for 520.00 out the door. I cant wait to go play in the mud or something!

If you ever go to Big-O tires, thier mud tire line looks identical to these. They are suposed to be 35000 mile tires. No clue other than that.

Not sure about Wally World but Sears has their own line of tires that is just Goodyear rebrands. On my old car, I had 2 GY Aquatreads and 2 Sears Aquahandlers and they were exactly the same.

Winston house brand muds, too

I've seen those as Big-O's on a Jeep, and I noticed only b/c I bought a set of 31x10.5's for my Ranger at Winston that have the exact same tread pattern. Sounds like WalMart's a better deal than Winston - the 31's were $430 out the door at the time.

They wore pretty fast for 5K and then seem to have stopped wearing so much. They're on a separate set of rims, so I'm not sure how many miles they have now. Noisy as he!! compared to more modern tread designs. Gives me motivation to put the BFG's back on. Work well in the snow, we don't have any mud in the summer.

Wal-Mart says they won't be undersold, but, most of the stuff they carry is Wal-Mart specific. Funny how that works.

Well sorry to say, but, this rat has jumped ship. I dropped my truck at the Firestone dealer today so they could look at a balancing problem with my tires/wheels. I bought a set of those steel street lock wheels from Firestone and of course tires from Wal-Mart. The manager at Wal-Mart got nasty with me this morning and told me to just bring the tires back! I only asked what my options would be if the tires turned out to be bad, geez. Anyway, after firestone put 4 33x12.5 Destination M/T's on, problem solved. Oh yea, and Wal-mart blamed it on the rims! So, now I have a brand new set of the Destination M/T's on and he gave them to me for 487.71. That is what the Wal-mart recept said! I did not have a problem with the other tires, however, these tires feel more in control while driving and more solid. These are the same tires as the Bridgestone Dueler M/T but just a slightly different tread design. I was told they use the same compound though. So good luck to all.

Josh

PS- If you would like pics of the destination M/T's I will send some just e-mail me. There are pics on the web too.
