I was wondering what the main difference in the Walmart, accesory off road lights for $30, and the $100+ lights from Hella and KC ect.? Im figurin that the Later are stronger but is it really worth the extra$$, i dont' do any serious off roadin, so im figurein i should be ok, but don't want to waste my money. ANyone have experience with theese?

strength, corrosion resistance, water sealing, bulbs, reflector technology. They all have something to do with the price, as well as name, reputation, and retailer. I've found budget lights can work well and last a long time, but don't be surprised if they crap out suddenly or don't output the light you're expecting.

In lighting, one usually gets what he/she pays for it.

As my old football coach said "ua can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh** no matter how muxj mayonase ya use"

i have a set of those of road wal mart lights that are similar to my kc's .... they are on our rally car.... they are actully pretty bright... and have taking a beating so far... and still work..

You definately get what you pay for. I have a set of PIAA Pro90's that I just put on. They retail for somewhere between $400-500 (I bought them used on ebay ;) ) These lights are awsome. So bright its not even funny.

I had a pair of Walmart fogs on last car. Wired as running lights. Two years, No probs, not bad for 20 bucks.

I have the one's I think your thinking of. I hope this pic work....they have been great for me, nice and bright.

That is hilarious Al, that is going to be my new saying.:D

i dont know about the walmart off road lights, but ive got some of their fogs on my x. i put them in the original fog light spots because one of mine was broken (one of the original fogs). i dont notice them lighting up much because they get overshined by the head lights, but they look bright and are yellow, so they look cool :D
