My days of hard thumpin' are behind me but I still want a little bump. I need the cargo area for my riding gear. We also go to the drive-in and use the cargo place to sit. Sometimes I haul my daughter's quad in the back, too. I had a car with 2 12"s in it before. That was ok because it had such a huge trunk...a Buick Regal Grand National look-alike. I don't really want something I have to take in and out all the time.
Could I mount some small bass tubes on top of the rear quarter panels...like right beside the rear windows? Are the built in amp ones any good or would I use an amp and 2 auxiliary powered woofer tubes?
Does anyone have small subs that will fit under the seats?
Would component speakers be the way to go? I had them in my Ranger and they were nice...bumped a little.
I just want some bass without loosing any of the space! I need the rear seats to fold down, also.
I have a Pioneer head unit...can't remember how many watts x 4. I need to jam my Metallica and some old Beasty Boys and my daughter's pop and country. Not any cRap!
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME! Thanks!
