Want either posi or locker rearend

ok i have a 01 ranger edge with the ****ty one wheel drive rearend and it is a 2wd not looking to go too all out on this truck just want it to be when i go offroad to have some fun that i can get around easier with it what do you recommend for the rearend i was told a 2wd with lockers is as bout as good as a 4wd stock what do yall think

I don't know about the 2wd locked vs stock 4wd, but a locker will help for sure. If you have an open carrier, you can install an Aussie locker for ~$280. If you have a factory LS, then your probably fine, but there are lockers for those too.

open def i have already pt tires on and when i went and flexed some today the tire that was coming off theground i want to say the one with no traction was spinning and the other was just chililn

lincoln locker. Weld the spyder gears in the diff together and it is just like a spool. Cost like a buck to do it.
