Want to build something!

Well i think i'm going to build a tool box for the back of the X. I'll include a place for the Hi-Lift off-road wench, drill, recovory straps, tools, lights. what else do you think i should include in this tool box. i store nothing in the back so i got all the room.

suggestions needed.

just curious, why would you want to build a toolbox outside of the x if you don't even use the cargo area for anything

Wel i built the box today and i'm wating for it to dry. it will store a drill, Hi-lift wench kit, socket kit, lots of tools, first aid, oils for the car, recovery straps/tools, and a spotlight straped to the outside of it. It has a lock on the top so i can leave it outside if i go camping and need to put outside the car to sleep on the inside and to keep theafs away.

also it is not bolted down yet. after a wheeling trip i might find out that i need it bolted down. for now it will be fine to leave it not bolted down.

What is the lip on either side of the front face for?

that is for ya to grip it to pull it down. i over laped it on accident and didn't feel like cutting it to make it all pretty so i left it like that.

looks nice! i plan to do somethin like that for where my spare is underneath when i put it on my rack. even make it so that it comes up with the cable!
