Want to swap stock radios

i want to take my stock am/fm cassette player (with cd changer controls) out of my 98 explorer and put in a stock am/fm cd player,can the stock cd player just plug right in with the same harness?

I would think so, I put a 1998 Explorer radio/CD/Tape in a 2001 Sport trac Plug and play

ur sport trac only have cassette before?
