The bolt pattern is right, the question will be the offset after you get the tire installed. Worst case you may need a spacer if the tire you want is too wide to clear the upper control arm. Best thing to do is fit them on and see what needs to be done. (If anything)

2005 and up Mustang rims do not fit on the 3rd gen X. The offset is wrong and it hits the spindle. I have heard the 2005 and up Saleen wheels fit because their a 25-30mm offset. But I am not 100% positive.

Well if they do fit up on your X u ought to get em!!

I had a set of them on my Ex for a little while (~50 miles) with 265/65/17 tires. They didn't hit anything, but MAN were they close. I wouldn't really recommend them unless you were going with stock size tires, or maybe a 245/70 or 235/75 if lifted.

Do you have any photos with those wheels on your Ex.?

Well, I thought I did. I will keep looking, but haven't been able to track them down yet.

I know this is an old thread, and probably dead, but I found the pics!

Wow those look really good. Hows the ride with them on? Any issues with the backspacing?

Ride was smoother than stock, with the big wide tires and all. They were close to the usual contact points (control arms, inner fenders) but not too close. They are a 17x8 wheel with +45 offset, so they are pretty close to stock size and offset. Maybe tucked under the fenders a tad more than stock. I actually have them back now, and am thinking about using them with some 245/70/17 highway tread tires for road trips and stuff. The 20's with 275/55/20 tires are killing my fuel mileage! lol

Good to know. I always heard the 05+ Mustang wheels didn't always fit.
