Are you sure they are stuck in the bushing and not just bound up by the leaf springs? When I did mine I had to use a second jack to take some pressure off the spring end. Even then I had to drift the bolts out with a hammer and punch.

Same. Getting the rubber part out is easy- it's the outer metal sleeve that is the problem.

The bushings should be easy to source locally.

Cross reference another brand's bushing to see if the part number that fits a '96 also fits a '91-'94. My guess is that it will.

I believe they will. I have the shackles sitting in my garage waiting to go on and I think that's the bushing kit I got too because I assumed mine would fall apart. Same thing. 96 5.0 4 door haha.

The rear spring eye bushings is the same p/n for 1991-1994 and 1995-2000 at LMC truck (page 78 and 79 in their catalog).

The front bushings on the leaf springs are different. LMC doesn't even sell the front ones for the 2nd gen, but they do for the first gen.

But, it looks like you can use the front bushings.... More/better info here too..

I took a 2 1/2" diameter x 3" long threaded water pipe nipple and grounded the outside down to fit inside the front eye sping (after removing the outer sleeve of original bushing). The bushing from the Energy Suspension 4.2124 kit fit PERFECT inside the water pipe nipple.

6th post down from this thread is how I explain what I did...

All the other bushings in the kit fit perfectly with no modifications.

Alright I got it! After torching it for 30 mins it finally came out! The bushings did require a little modification, I had to cut one of them short so they would fit between the shackle.
