Warrior makes adapters to change the from the single stud shock mount to a regular eyelet mount. Has anyone used these? This might open the door for more selection of a longer stroke shock. The part # is W161. You can see them on their website. http://www.warriorproducts.com/

What do ya think?

i think that little thing is a good idead. Im planning a dual setup but that would work great for a higher class single. Im lookin to run dual 2.0 :D . Warrior should build that bracket for a dual... hmm.... maybe i could invent it and become rich

Their sliders strike me as being slightly under-engineered. While you can adapt the slider to accept that lower shock mount, you're still relying on one bolt to keep the shock attached to the slider. I'm not so sure that bolt and it's corresponding threaded sleeve (which is welded to the slider) can handle the cyclical loading. Additionally, the sliders are pricey ($80+). I think you can make something better for less (and I plan to).

I think I am about to order the Ole Man Emu shocks and be done with it. I have yet to here someone that is dissatisfied with them. They are a little pricy compared to any other, but if I can the extra travel, it should be worth it.
