2010 For Explorer XL
We've had severe rainstorms here in Southern California. When backing out of driveway a few days ago, water came pouring out of the "button" that turns on the overhead lamp light on the driver's side. Took to dealership, they can't find anything wrong with it, they used a hose, etc. Stopped for a couple of days, but again this morning water pouring out...can anyone help. This is a brand new 2010 Ford Explorer with only 4000 miles on it. Thanks.

windshield seals would be my first look into it.

I had the same issue with my Excursion, it was a screw missing from the roof rack.

There is a TSB regarding this same problem with certain 2006/2007 Explorers. Something to do with the sunroof drainage tubes.
Since you have a 2010 with bumper to bumper warranty (?), make the dealer find and fix the problem. The head liner will likely have to be removed so have Ford pay the bill and to a proper repair whatever the problem is.
