Weird A/c problem

Okay This ones got me really confused hopefully someone can help me out I have a 01 sport trac with a 5.0 swap and the a/c clutch is engaging and blowing cold air when it is just on vents but the clutch disengages when I turn it on either ac or max ac. Any ideas?

My first guess would be somethings incorrect with the swaps wiring.
