I've been having A/C problems for months and i dont really know whats going on with it.

My A/C works great whenever i am stopped at a red light but as soon as i start driving again it gets back to warm air.

Does anybody have a clue what it could be.

Another thing i was wondering is does my 98 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition have a cabin filter? If so where could i find it?

as far as the cabin filter they were not used untill 02 andup i believe?? as far as cold at idle you have (a) low freon (b) dirty condensor but I would bet it is just low freon

i recently added new freon and that didnt do anything at all. how do i find the condensor?

the condensor is in front of the radiator right behind the grill you might also have over filled the system how much did you put in?? and did you use a gauge

i had a professional put the freon in my truck.

how exactly do you clean the condenser?

water hose or compressed air how long ago did they charge it??

about a month ago....would i have to take the condenser out to clean it or can i just spray water on it through the grill

just hose itout through the grill but i would call the shop that did the work and tell them it is not working properly and see what they tell you since it has only been a month they should be willing to help you if you would not be so far away i would tell you to run it by the shop i work at and i would look at it for you

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

There may only be enough vacuum to hold the blend door in the correct position when the engine is idling.
