I have a question to all of you out there who know a thing or two about electrical work... my brake light on the drivers side is out... so i figured replace the bulb and then i will have lights... took off the brake light and bulb was fine. so said well maybe there is something i am not seein and bought a new one anyways for a few bux it was worth knowin for sure. and same issue... no light on the drivers side just the passengers side. i have tail lights on both sides and don't know where to start to find this issue... any help? thanks in advance

well your problem is potentially straight forward since the feed for both right and left stop lights is the same point... and since one side is getting something, the other should to... first check for voltage on the LG wire when your brakes are on. If there is nothing there, then you get the fun of tracing that wire back to where it meets the junction with the other side. There is a splice in the run and it depends on whether you have 2 doors or 4 doors (at least in my 96 drawings).

yeah 4 door and was hopin it wasn't something to trace down lol... oh well i guess i will do what i have to do

According to 96 drawings, the splice is near the rear washer area for the 4 door version so you might get lucky. BUT make sure you check for voltage first since if there is voltage then your problem is likely a loss of ground which is probably closer to the light in question.
