Weird electric window problem.....

Hey, I have a '91, and have to non functioning windows. The driver and rear passenger. I took apart the driver and have found that the motor seems to be working fine. It will drive the bar with the gears, but it always seems to slip and snap shut. I've tried alot of things, replacing washers, bolts, etc. but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Could you explain a little different? I'm not sure what is happening.

Well my problem seems to be with the regulator. The ,otor will power it a certain distance before it seems to slip off the gears an snaps shut.

IIRC those have a gear set that go bad. You would need to get a replacement gear kit.
