Can you rephrase that in laments terms? I don't understand the scientific language of gibberish :D

me and my friends in a pathfinder took our trucks out to a mud field i put it in 4 wheel drive then low range and everythign was great had some fun got muddy good times.we get back on the road and i take a sharp turn onto the road and my steering while like shakes and bumps and i know its like that in low range if you take it to sharply is this the cause ? or something else the steering wheel like jerks a little and its find and makes like a bumpign nosie its hard to describe

Are you sure you disengaged it? It kinda sounds like it is still in 4wd

Is that the only time it happened? If you took a sharp turn now does it still do that? I'm thinking it may have still been in low range. To get out of low range don't you turn it off and drive in reverse 15 feet?

i still cant understand what you are saying, if you go onto the road and its in low range still its going to make all kinda of bumping and noises lowrange should never be used on the pavement, and 4x4 should rarely ever be used on pavement.... also vibration could also be the mud everywhere it isnt normally, it makes rotating parts out of balance... most likely from your description it sounds like you went on the road in 4x4 and it makes a funky bumping feeling, thats normal then

no its not in 4 wheel drive anymore nor low range just does it when i take a sharp turn to go into like a parking lot or something

Do you have auto or manual hubs?

check your ball joints. then check cv's

I think that he got a bunch of good info, but how about maybe checking under his rig for mud jammed in places it shouldn't be.....I'm just a novice when it comes to this but I figure when one goes wheeling though mud, he's going to get some in places he don't want it. :D
