Westin Safari Bar

I just installed a Westin Safari Light bar and I don't like where it sits. It is too damn low. The mount kit has the bar sitting at least 6 inches from where the tow hooks are mounted on the frame. I'm going to have to have someone make me some new mounts. If I give someone measurements, could you fabricate something for me?

Don't worry about new brackets, just get about an inch and a half cut out of the middle and then get it rewelded. I was going to do it when I had mine and a guy at work that welds looked at it and said it would be no problem, cause there is enough room at the bottom of the bracket right above where the bolt goes through to hold the Safari Bar on.

I just got my mounting kit toady and I am wodering how you mounted it?
