That was me. When I pulled my transmission back off the engine, my clutch was toast. Had about a tissue thick of friction material and the rivets were sticking up farther than what little material was left. Replaced the clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, new pilot bearing and new slave cylinder. Truck runs amazing, but the new clutch is really grabby haha.

not quite sir! just drivin down I-95 and heard a tinging sound. the stupid CV joint on the transfer case blew apart. when i pulled it, the boot was torn and she was fully of good ol Jersey mud!

I'd like to make the next one, but looks like you guys got dirtier than I want to.

And my first reaction was shock that you grenaded your shaft while driving, but it looks like you got lucky.

Steering locked up halfway through a turn, no idea what caused it but it wasn't the actual steering linkages those were all good. Slowed down and almost would've made it, but some CRV came blasting down the road in the other lane. Driver panicked and swerved INTO me instead of around me. I used the CRV as a ramp, crushed its passenger side and flipped into a ditch.

Everyone came out uninjured, both cars totalled. Cops said it was a no-fault accident. I got no ticket, other guy got speeding and no seatbelt.

Thats the short story.

PS: V8Boatbuilder: The Radius Arm Crossmember came through the accident 100%, that bolt union was fine. The arms themselves, though, they twisted and bent like pasta.
