ok so i read the tire fitment guide, and it said the max tire i can fit on a stock 94 explorer is 30x9.50, what about 29x11.50s? mickey thompson makes some, i think its the same as a 295-60-15 metric tire, oh yeah, i wanna mount it on a 10 inch rim too.. would that fit without fender trimming and what not?

i ran a 31x10.50 stock on 15x7 rims, with NO rubbing, other have rubbing but minimal. I would run a 31x10.50 on a 15x8 rim or if you want to skip buying rims yo ucould jstu use your stock wheels and if you rub too much you can always run coil spacers and shackles. or you could do a Body lift.

if you do runa 15x10 i think you will need to trim, jstu from what ive heard. Also for the 15x8 i would get 3.75" Backspacing

Hope this helps

PEACE

if you need a picture of a 1st gen with 31x10.50s stock jstu let me know ill get one off my website...

yeah if you could send a pic of your truck, that would be great, (with the 30x10.50s)

lol, i bet that would work but why? it would look baaaad (and not in a good way) but thats just my opinion...

bad??? i think it would look mean, i would have an extra 3 inch of meat stickin out each side of my truck, and 10 inch deep dish rims, that thing would like P.I.M.P.! but anyways, you think it would work? has anyone had 10 inch rims on there explorer? i dont care what tire size, i just wanna know if anyone has put 15x10 inch rims on a stock explorer?

15x8 shouuld work with very minimal rubbing, fro mwhat i hear 15x10 WILL rub, you will need some type of lift. Atleast that is what ive heard from other post

ok so you think that a 29x11.50 tire would fit fine with no rub on a 15x8 inch rim?
