First im building a false floor to put in and then on top of that will be 4 kicker comp 10" but not sure how i should design the box. I know it will be ported.
I thought bout building two boxs each with two subs in them. Each box would sit on the sides of the cargo area with the subs faceing in and then a wall against the rear seats that will have the two boxes mounted to ti so it will appear to be one box. The JBL 1200.1 amp will be mounted flush in the wall.

What yalls thoughts on this setup and how will it sound? I want a good spl setup.

Thanks Anthony

the best way to achive spl is to build and then test. after that u will need to fine tune it all a few more times. trial and error.

if you want a good SPL setup its gonna sound like pure crap. If you want it to sound pretty nice and to get pretty loud, try the recommended airspace per sub, tuned to 35hz. it will sound alright and its gonna be loud. fire the subs up, fire the ports back at the tailgate. dont fire the subs at each other though, i wouldnt recommend that.

Just let all four subs share the same airspace??

Slot ports or round ports??

thats all up to you. you could share all the same airspace, but the box would need to be braced very well due to its size. you could do 2 seperate chambers and less bracing would be required. Id do large slot ports but round ports would work fine as well.

One box with two chambers. Each chamber 3.5 - 4.0 cubic ft and a slot port in each.

The spec call for 1.75 ft3+ port displacement ( 1.5x10.5 port x 13.25 long" )
So should i just double the port size since ill have two subs in the chamber

i would do 40 square inches of port per chamber, then calculate the correct length for the volume you are using.
