What are some good interior upgrades for a stock 2000?

My center console lid is cracked off, and i want aux and cb hookup. Also i have a voltage reader for my battery right now the wires just hanging through the hood and door i want to put it through the firewall.

I too have a 2000 Sport! My interior upgrades have included:

• Leather front seats
• Overhead console/compass/temp display
• Puddle lights in door panels
• First-gen Limited console (color-matched cupholders and leather armrest)
• Original (dealer add-on) all-season floor mats and cargo liner
• Replace all interior bulbs -- don't forget headlight switch, rear defrost, etc.
• Upgraded door speakers and added subwoofer

Firstly man, great looking truck, i wasn't lucky enough to get the manual. Leather seats are definitely something I'm gonna get, i also want to attach 4 point harnesses. Now i only have leather seat covers . Awesome suggestion of replacing the bulbs im sure everything will look a lot fresher, and that is pretty cheap too. Where did you find the overhead controls, and which speakers did you upgrade to?

I robbed the overhead console (and related wiring) from my '97 XLT before I scrapped it. Most 4 door Explorers had them, so check your local salvage yard. In my experience, the older LCD displays held up better than the later ones. I think early had a white base, later was black -- you'll see the base of the screen once you pull the console down.

I think I got Polk speakers, it's been a few years. Nothing fancy, but good bang for the buck. That Kicker 15" is probably older than my Sport, I had it in my '97 back in high school and my dad found it in a trash pile before that haha
