What are some good PIAA or Hella lights that aren't too expensive?

You can also consider KC's, they are pretty good. As far as I know, from spending a lot of time at 4 Wheel Parts, most Hellas and PIAA's are a pretty penny. But, if you have to go with one of the two, go with PIAA, they are better than Hella. What type of light are you looking for? Fog, pencil beam, driving? That would help.

Well, I don't know. Do fog lights really work in the fog? I'm probally looking for driving.

i would suggest hella 500's driving light they are like 60-70 bucks and they do a good job for me and i like them or for some more the 1000's but they are a little pricey and they are huge

the only reason i dont like the hella 500's is beacuse i prefer rectangular lights. does anyone know how good the hella 550 fog lights are, and what are your views on th epiaa 520 ion fog lights, besides their high price.

I was talking to my friend about getting Hella 500s. I want to put them where the grill is, but he said that it blocks the air conditioner and might overheat. Is this true?

I got lights in my grill and havent had a problem but the temp doesnt get much over 90 here.

Hey man, I have some of the Hella 530's on my bumper.

I really love them. I run my headlight covers ALL THE TIME and just use my Hella's at night for the light. They are really bright, if i'm not careful where I aim them then i get flashed, but then i just flick them off then on again, people don't like that though!! Hope this helps!

Happy trailes!

Dan, you don't mention much about your lighting wants. Do you want driving or fog (fog's are great in foul weather and in good weather around town because it lights up the area directly in front of you, but doesn't blind oncoming drivers... drivings are better if you do a lot of highway driving or night wheeling because they light up the road way ahead of you). Do you want something thats easy to install, best quality, or cheapest price? Do you plan on using them a lot or just mainly to have lights on the truck?

dan, i have a set of PIAA 1552 driving lights in place of the factory fog lights. those puppies are brighter than my headlights, and i drive with them on at night angled down. they were a pretty penny though, but i was surprised at how sturdy they made them.

i have the piaa 520 fogs in my brush guard and piaa 1552 pencil beam driving lights in the factory fog light area, as well as piaa superwhite headlights. can you tell i dig the he** out of piaa lighting? and, even though i am not quite as bright as matt, i can see EVERYTHING in front of me!! go with piaa's, they are awesome!
