Assuming your in 6th gear. I can't confirm I'm in 6th gear, but mine appears to be 2000 rpm at that speed. Seems like it should be lower. Anyone notice theirs?

I'd think it should be lower, my 04 F-150 4.6 is 2000 @ 65, never had a V-6 yet though so can't be sure. I know my rear gear is lower @ 3:53 vs 3:39 for an Ex 4x4.

I don't have my Ex yet but if you are cruising along steadily at 60 mph, you can be quite sure you are in 6th gear.

I haven't had mine on the interstate yet but will pay attention to this when I do.

For reference my V8 (LS1) GTO is a 6-spd manual and it lugs along at ~1900 rpm at 70mph on the interstate, however I know this is totally dependent on gearing and the GTO specifically had a tall 6th gear to improve fuel economy.

i drive 100+ miles a day in my ex on the highway, its hard to tell but between 60-70, seems to float right at 2k rpm. which is odd how 10 mph difference doesnt seem to change the rpms.

In my V8 2007 Eddie Bauer with 120,000 miles it also hits just a tick under 2,000 RPM at 70 MPH.

In the new 2011 Limited, the RPM's are the same 2,000.
