I want to replace the bushings but locate any. Did you guys replace yours or did you use the old ones. I was hoping to install these this week. Thanks.

Dead Link Removed

I didn't replace mine yet, but it would be a nice improvement.

So who do I contact to order. I pmed Hank. Is there a direct link?

On the bottom of the page I linked, there is an email address. I would get with someone there before placing an order, because there can be up to a 5 week lead time.

Good luck!

morrisey0: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I'm about to put in my shackles later this week, and I was wondering what the benifits of these would be?

hmm... i don't remember any bushings being used on the shackles or the spring mounts. or are these the bushings inside the loopey eye part of the spring's end?
my springs squeek like crazy now so i assume i need new ones. sounds like a ghetto ride.

Installed my warrior shackles on one side. It gave me no lift. My leaf were nearly flat. So I need to have my leafs rearched or add a leaf. Which would be the best way to go?

I would try a heavy duty add a leaf first, easier on the wallet, the pro comp will give you about an inch, skyjacker has a heavy duty that will give you a little more.

I set out to install those bushings and had a hell of a time getting the old ones out. They are glued in place, and don`t want to leave the hole. As a matter of fact I only got one side done and had such an ordeal that I haven`t done the other side yet. That was three months ago, I guess I should get it done but gawd!

I heard they come out easier if you take a torch to them so I might try that.

-have fun tho`and give yourself way more time than you think!

When taking out the old bushing, I drilled the rubber out, then used an air chisel to slide the sleeve out. Major pain in the behind, but worth it when you are done.
Id50, did you only do one? Only five more to go.:p

-good grief!

Hey, the sleeve comes out too? no wonder I had to widen the hole after getting the bushings in!

In that case couldn`t you just air chisel the sleeve AND the old bushing out at the same time?

I tried that, but this was a home model and not much power. It just wanted to bounce around on the rubber, that's why I drilled out the rubber first.

Do you need to install the new bushings with the shackles? and what do they help with..Ride? Noise? Ect.

- Just a newbie Q ;)

Nah, you don`t need to install them.
lol still feels same with just one side done, I don`t know how much difference they make yet.
