what do these plugs go to? Help.

This is from my first gen ranger. I was trying to figure out why my parking brake light doesnt go on when the brake is on (and the bulb is good, checked it in a slot that lights up), and I saw these two unplugged plugs and have no idea what they go to. Any ideas?

I can't think of anything down there other than the neutral safety switch, BUT if that wasn't connected (or didn't have in the cap) you wouldn't start (or turn over).
