What is this going in? Your Mountaineer? Are you going to cut your doors to make the 6x9s fit? Why not just go with 6.5s or 5x7s?

And how do you plan to mount those other speakers in your A-pillar? Are you fiberglassing them in?

No offense, but I don't think that setup is going to sound right, and it's going to be a huge mess trying to cram all of that stuff up front.

To each his own, though. I would definitely like to see pics once you have it all in.

I actually just read what I wrote and see the confusion. I said A Pillar, when in actuality, the 6.5s and 3.5s will be mounted in the B Pillar. 3.5"s up high, since the absolutely scream and I need to draw the sound up, and 6.5"s low just to add a little bit more depth. The way the seats are, the 3.5"s will be slightly above and behind my head. The 6.5"s will be either behind, or next to the lower portion of the seat, depending on the seat adjustment.

As far as the 6x9"s in the doors, no need to modify anything, the truck came with 6"x9"s in the doors...

I also mounted a USB port into the center console so that I can take my thumb drive out when I get to work and listen to my music on my computer.

I'll post pics as I do the work. The bulk of the install will start Wednesday. The hardest part is going to be mounting my Digital Audio amp. I have no clue where I'm gonna stick the huge ****...

Your truck came with 5x7s from the factory. Are you saying that someone already swapped them for 6x9s?

Mounting those speakers in the B pillar is going to make for terrible sound quality. I'm not trying to bash your setup/plan. I'm just trying to help, in case you just didn't know. If your only goal is to destroy ear drums, then more power to you. However, if you want your music to sound anything like what it was intended to sound like, you'll be better off scaling back the number of speakers and keeping them in the stock locations. There are certainly ways to improve the sound quality, imaging, etc from that point, but not the way you're doing it. Again, if you just want loud, and you want to use everything you have, please disregard my advice and have fun doing your thing.
