What do you use for undercoating

Well since I am laid off untill jan 5 I thought I would take this time to fully undercoat my rig.What do you guys use?Or what have you had good luck with?Thanks again

I had good luck with light sanding, primer (or direct paint), then a light coating of vaseline. It's much cheaper than undercoating products and works just as well. If you're really on a budget used motor oil works too, but is more likely to come off.
