What happened to Carson`s Ex?

Didn`t have to wait too long. I am sort of related to one of the owners of the company, so he said he would cut us some slack on the bill. Any locals would know that from East Stave to Downtown Vancouver would be an expensive tow!
I believe he was looking at about two hundred dollars anyway.
I guess now he has to wait and see what happened and whether it is covered under warranty.
What a bummer, I feel sorry for you Carson, such bad luck when you come out wheeling with me!

Yah I've been contemplating that! Funny thing is I was telling him how good the hubs felt right before we stopped, it was like night and day between my auto's and the new manuals. It was fairly steep and with the auto's I would have been spinning all the way. I just hope it is covered, if not the guy who towed me said to call him and he'll come and pick up the ex again and take it somewhere good.

Well I dropped it off at the tranny place and there pretty sure it's the front pump seal, good news is it's all covered yahoooo!!! I also asked them to check out the torque converter while there in there, maybe they can get rid of my shakes at 100km an hour.

Carson,

That really sucks man :(

Phew, still sucks on the tow bill, but that is good news.
Oh yeah, this is where we ended up having the bbq. And you forgot your veggie dogs! I guess they would have gone bad anyway, sitting on your lap all the way home!

I figured it would be the pump seal. It probably took the torque converter out too, it usually happens that way:(

Well I got the call today " Sir we took off the pan and there where metal filings in there so we're recommending that you put in a rebuilt transmision" I say oh yah is that covered by the warranty and he say's no but we think you should do this because with only 103,000 km's there shouldn't be any metal filings in there and since there are metal filings that means you're breaking things. I say well I've got another year on the warranty so I'll take my chances, he then say's well it'll only cost you $800.00. I say no thanks, he say's ok we won't tell the warranty place about the metal filings. I swear he just couldn't stop saying "metal filings", Anyway all they'll do is fix the seal, so I get it back tomorrow.

and there's nothing wrong with an occasional veggie dog! :)
