What is the large thing that looks like the radiator but it's a little smaller and sits right in front of it. It also has coolant running through it cause now it has a hole in it from a rock,

Are you talking about the tranny cooler? No coolant runs thru the tranny cooler...only tranny fluid runs thru it,

Well there are three radiator lookin things up there. There is a small one. Then another larger one behind that and then the Radiator. So i need to know what the one in between the little one and the Radiator is. The fluid that came out of it was definately green, but I could be mistaken because it was more of a violent spray that ceased after a while. But it hasn't leaked since I just pinched the ends that were leaking with some pliers and then all of a sudden yesterday when I parked the car it was leaking again.

the one you are referring to is your air conditioning condensor

That explains why that doesn't work, s*** how much is it going to replace that, and is it something I can do my self. I just put in a new radiator and that seemed easy enough

Find that used from a yard, and buy a new drier. The drier absorbs moisture, so if it is exposed for even a short time, it should be replaced. The newer freon isn't very expensive. Buy the drier, change that AC radiator(condensor), and go to an AC shop to recharge the system/change drier. Good luck,
Don

OK now bear in mind to do this repair you will have to drain your cooling system completely and remove the radiator. Very easy, just takes a few more minutes of time.

You can pretty much do everything yourself except the recharge. BEFORE you have a shop charge it up, however, have them pull a vacuum test on it to see if it holds vacuum! You will be able to see if there are any other leaks. When I pulled my vacuum to 30 hg/in (whatever units) it took it 20 minutes to come down to 29... and then it just stayed there.

(took and passed the ASE heating/ac test) :-)

I've got a 1994 XL which I've replaced the hose assembly and the evaporator core on the a/c system, and I have icey a/c when I can spare the extra gas :-P

Thank you for all of your help!

I just took mine out last night. I thought I would be slick and try to slide it out without taking the radiator out. I got it out-after much anger and swearing. Next time I will definately take out the rad first.
