I have a 01 Explorer sport. I purchased my explorer with blown head gasket. I got engine replaced but they didn’t finish the job. I took the vehicle from the shop and finished it myself. When I got it back together it ran fine. After a week or 2 the truck would start bogging down when I pressed on gas. I pretty much replaced fuel system minus the pump. New starter cleaned MAF sensor. ( doesn’t change when I unplug it). Code reads running lean in bank 1. But nothing else. There was a sound first week sounded like timing but went away. I can’t figure out what’s making it bog down. Seems like when it heats up. I’m stumped. Help please.

Fuel pump

Need to check fuel pressure

A cold fuel pump will deliver enough fuel as it heats up it is unable to keep up with demand

Replacing the fuel system aside from the pump, so you did filter and injectors but not the pump, the pump is the heart of the fuel system

Lean bank 1 points to possible intake 0 rings or you are just lean due to lack of fuel pressure or delivery issue
