Hey whats goin on i have a 15" Eclipse sw9152 subwoofer and im now shopping around for a good amp...i dont know much about subs and their ohm ratings or anything so im just kinda lookin for help...i want this thing to kick hard and sound clean...should i go for a mono amp...2 channel amp...im thinking anywhere from 800-1000 watts should be good for this one sub although im sure it could handle a little more ...any recomendations not necessarily on brand but just what kind of amp i should be looking for

search ebay for hifonics brutus

Look for around a 800w or more mono amp that does most RMS power at 2 ohms whether it be mono amp or a 2ch amp it wouldn't matter, but a Class D (or whatever it may be T, X etc.) amp will net you a bit more efficiency at lower volumes.

If you're on a budget I'd suggest a MA Audio HK800D otherwise there are multitudes of amps to choose from... Kicker ZX series for example, ZX750.1 would work well too!
