LONO, hopefully it's not too late but don't get the stick on weight that mount on the inside , they won't clear the calipers. Also, I know Cali. is strick but I had to get my wheels/tires balanced four times in two weeks because they used the new "steel" lip weights. The bead protecter on the tires kept kicking them off, they had to find some now outlawed "led" weights and I haven't had any issues since. The steel weights just wouldn't bend to the curve of the wheel and the clip wasn't long enough to grab the lip under the bead protector. Just a heads up.
With 33's you should have 4.56's with our Trac's to get the speedo corrected and take alot of stress off the drivetrain.
I want to regear my Trac to 4.56's but I'm waiting til I do my SAS, SOA because I don't wanna waste the money on the gears, install, etc. then have to do it over again with the straight axle.
Don't get me wrong, you're fine with 4.10's especially since your 2wd but your speedo will be off as well as your odometer and putting more strain on the drivetrain.
Yes it is suggested to add a tranny cooler with a stock ST. The transmissions on our trucks are tempermental and could use all the help they can get when you change anything on the them.
Anyone else feeling like they're running out of things to upgrade...
So i just got my tires in today and these 33's are alot bigger in person than i thought. After having 33s on has anyone had any problems? Like drivetrain problems, anything? People at work are telling me to watch my cv's.
