What is the "Radio Feed" wire?

I noticed a plug that looks like a large phone jack inside my console. On the back side it says "Radio Feed". What is this used for?
I have a 98 E/B if that matters.

My guess it would go to the rear radio controls, but I'm not sure. That would be my best guess. Maybe for the headphone jacks.

For some stupid reason, Ford decided to put this in our consoles instead of having pre-wirings for CD changers. It's there because it's for their optional factory cell phone.
