What part or assembly are we looking at in the pictures?

Next thing is to identify the fluid type, and exactly where it is coming from. Is it dripping from above, or blowing back from forwards?

Is it coolant, oil, transmission fluid, or other? They all feel and smell different.

If it is a reddish colour it is likely transmission fluid.

Looks like coolant. Possible water pump weep hole leak.

Pictured area looks like transmission pan, oil pan, or PTU. Weep hole leaks usually pool up on the bottom of the AC compressor.
